PayPal is an on line money sharing service that allows users to log on, add money to their PayPal account, sent that money to another user's email address or accept money from other users. A verified PayPal account is a PayPal account that has confirmed bank accounts or credit card accounts added to it. Getting a verified PayPal account is rather easy as long as you have a bank account in your name.
Instructions
1.
Go to the PayPal website. Click on "Sign Up" at the top of the screen.
2.
Choose the country in which you live and the language you commonly speak. Decide whether you want a personal, premier or business account. You may get a verified PayPal account with any of these types of accounts. A personal account is typically reserved for individuals who shop or share money with others on the Internet. A premier account is typically reserved for people who buy or sell products on the Internet. A business account is typically reserved for those who use business names for their buying and selling.
3.
Fill in information about yourself like your email address, name, address and phone number. Include your business name and business information, you are signing up for a business account. Read the PayPal User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Click on "Agree" and "Create Account."
4.
Check your email for a confirmation email regarding your PayPal account. In that email, click on the link to confirm your account.
5.
Click on "Add Funds" at the top of the PayPal screen. Click on "Add Funds by Electronic Funds Transfer." Then click on "Add Bank Account" in the middle of the screen.
6.
Type in your bank name, account type, routing number and account number of a checking account or savings account that you want to add to your PayPal account. Your name and address with the bank you are adding must match the name and address you gave PayPal when you signed up in Step 3. PayPal will then make a small deposit into your account.
7.
Check your bank account in three to five days to see what the amount of the deposit is. Log back in to your PayPal account and click on "Verify PayPal Account." Type in the exact amount of the deposit and click Submit. A page will come up that you now have a verified PayPal account.
8.
Click on PayPal Plus Credit Card on the left side of the main PayPal screen once you have logged into your account to add a PayPal Plus credit card. This is the other way in which you may get a verified PayPal account. Fill out your name, address, phone number and social security number on the application page. Click on "I Agree" to confirm that you are requesting a credit card. Once you are approved for a PayPal Plus credit card, you are also a verified PayPal account holder.
Make sure that your country is in the list of countries allowed to receive funds. Check here
